Hi, guys!
I want to share my experience "how to plan a birthday party"
three months ago, i make a birthday party.
so, the steps are:
1. Budget
You need to calculate how much "budget" that you have to this party
2. Place
You need to survey the place. Ask for birthday pricelist in many restaurant and hotel. See the place. If the place "pas" for you, start the negotiation with someone in that place who handle your party. If you are >17, i think you must choose place that allow smoking.
3. Choose a date & time
If you are a student, you have tp choose a weekday. Because 5/9 peoples wouldn't come to party if tomorrow was a school day.
4. Theme
This is important. Because the theme can take effect to your decorations, dresscode, and etc. You can choose: superhero, animation, cartoon, princess, or only just a spesific colour.
5. Invitation
List the guest. Make invitation card. Youu have to fix the time, place, date, and dresscode. You need to fix how many people who will come to your party.
6. Decoration & cake
If you don't have much money, you can make the simple decoration with simple material. Example: sterofoam. The standard decoration for birthday party are baloons.
Birthday cake: if you celebrate your birthday party at restaurant, you free to choose birthday cake. you can choose cake min. 15cmx15cm. but if you celebrate at hotel, you must buy a cake with big size. because normally, the cake will "disimpan" at the stage.
7. Dress & Make Up Artist
You have to find the best dress that suitable with the theme. If you want to more "economical", you may rent the dress. Look for make up artist & hair do who can make you more beautiful in your special day.
8. MC & Guest Star
You need MC because MC can handle your party. Guest Star is not too important. You can invite or not invite guest star.
9. Photographers
If you want more "praktis" and you have much money, you can recruit photographers. I think it's important to capture every moment in your special day. So, if you "gak mau" recruit photographers, you can ask your relasi to capture your moment.
I think that's enough.
pardon my bad grammar
